Who we are
THE PILLARS ON WHICH OUR MINISTRY IS BUILT
Mission Gabriel Ministries (MGM) is a non-denominational Christian ministry founded in Jamaica, West Indies. Established in 2005, MGM has since expanded its reach and now operates ministries in Jamaica (headquarters), Canada, England, and the United States, serving communities worldwide.
OUR MISSION – is to Serve Well by being vessels of honor, prepared for every good work (2 Timothy 2:21).
OUR VISION – is to build lives by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the most vulnerable locally and globally for generations to come.
ONE VISION, MANY VOICES – more than a motto, it’s who we are. Every member, partner, and ministry contributes their unique voice toward our shared vision, bringing hope, healing, and transformation.
WHAT WE DO:
Provide worship spaces that foster fellowship, spiritual growth, and biblical teaching.
Support missions locally and globally.
Equip believers to share their faith through evangelism, service, and compassionate outreach.
Offer religious education for children, youth, and adults to encourage spiritual growth.
What we Believe
Foundational Statement
The principles of the Church are established by God and remain unchanging. All ministers and leaders are required to uphold these beliefs and teachings.
We Believe
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, authoritative for life and faith
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, resurrected, and now seated at the right hand of God
(Luke 1:35; Matthew 27:32–56; Luke 24).
The Sabbath (Saturday) was blessed and set apart by God as a day of rest
(Genesis 2:2–3; Hebrews 4:9).
Salvation comes through repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit
(Acts 2:38, John 7:38, John 3:3–8).
The Lord’s Supper is observed in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice
(1 Corinthians 11:26).
The Great Commission calls every believer to share the gospel and serve others
(Matthew 28:16–20).
Divine Healing is available through faith in Jesus Christ
(Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14–15).
Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly
(Matthew 24:30–31).
These beliefs guide our faith, teaching, and service at Mission Gabriel Ministries International.

Our Bishop
Bishop Catherine McCarthy
Over 30 years ago, Bishop Catherine McCarthy was called to the ministry of Jesus Christ to do a work in this end time. God anointed her to speak into the lives of hundreds of people, and as a result, countless lives have been healed, restored, and transformed in multiple ways.
As the work continued, God laid a great burden upon the heart of Bishop McCarthy for the lives of the sick, lowly and dying, as well as addicts, widows, orphans and the homeless. This passion became a vision and later bore fruit!

Derick Smith
Head Pastor – Jamaica
A man who we can always count on to show up no matter the circumstance, Pastor Smith has dedicated his time, energy and life to being there whenever he’s needed.
Curtis Hylton
Head Pastor – Canada
One of three pastors for the Canada Mission, Pastor Hylton has really carved out a place for himself by not being afraid to let go and to trust fully in the sovereignty of God.
Micheal McCarthy
Head Pastor – England
One of the youngest Pastors of the ministry, Pastor Mack, as we love to call him, has made an indelible mark on ministry since he found his calling from a young age.
Alvin & Dorette Lee
Head Pastor – Ohio – United States
The husband and wife duo, the Lees have been an instrumental part of the ministry, holding up the main branch in the USA through many rough times, and are still pressing on.
Verna Donaldson
Head Pastor – Florida – United States
A man who we can always count on to show up no matter the circumstance, Pastor Smith has dedicated his time, energy and life to being there whenever he’s needed.
Jeremiah Scott
Pastor – Canada
One of three pastors for the Canada Mission, Pastor Hylton has really carved out a place for himself by not being afraid to let go and to trust fully in the sovereignty of God.
